Veterans Plates
In 2002, through the efforts of NS/NU Command, R.C.L., Nova Scotia became Canada's first province to institute a government issued "Veteran License Plate" in order to recognize the contributions of our Veterans to Nova Scotia and to Canada. As of March 2010, 10,000 unique Veteran license plates proudly travel the roads and highways.
Then NS/NU Command President and WWII Veteran Fred Mombourquette is shown installing the very first Veterans Plate on his vehicle.
